my 02 f4i pics
****updated pics page 2****
thought id make a thread with some pics of my bike...got it about 3 weeks ago and already have 1200 miles on it...wasnt sure if i was going to like the sportbike thing but i actually am LOVING it. im 18, yep 18...this is my second "street" bike but i have been riding offroad for years. im taking a liking to riding twisties so ive been working on my cornering form alot and just cruising the backroads when im not commuting to school.
i started in september on a suzuki drz400s dual sport and rode it on the street through the NY winter...brr.. put 6,000mi on it and then sold it to get the f4i since i rode the drz 99% on-road anyway. i didnt want to jump right to a 600 and im pretty happy with that decision. it was much nicer getting on the sportbike with the previous experience than if i was to start on it from square one.
i got the bike all stock and so far have been setting it up how i like it... im honestly at a point where i cant figure out what i should do next though. so far i have the undertail kit,two bros. shorty,rim tape,chrome pegs,bar ends,blacked windscreen. just got a box of stuff today:tank pad,vortex sliders,proton flush mount fronts..also some front hid's are coming..i still have a few bucks(300 or so) left over in my "mod fund" so if anyones got any suggestions, PLEASE let me know!! like i said, im 18 and a pretty new rider so power wise the bike is more than enough as it is....no need for any of that stuff. also i already have full gear head to toe so thats taken care of as well....mainly cosmetic mods are what im thinking...need some suggestions on how to spruce it up
let me know
thanks!
p.s.-if anyone lives on long island, im out on the east end in riverhead and ALWAYS up to go cruising...i know some great roads out here and will always be around the local chill spots(bald hill/port jeff/etc.) once the season gets into full swing..cant wait!
day i got it
few days later(have shift boots/lodown jeans now)
now(minus tank pad,sliders,flush mount that arent installed yet)

RE: my 02 f4i pics
Seeing as how you do alot of commuting, Maybe you could get yourself a corbin seat... Save you some pain from all that time spent on the saddle. A nice cosmetic upgrade that you could do (I did it to mine) is a Targa rear seat cover.
P.S. These are some sexi bikes we got, huh?
