Default Motorcyle class

Mine was supposed to be this weekend, but i showed up like 2 minutes after they called my name and they gave my spot to a walk in. So does anyone no a loop hole for a 17 year old to get there license in Illinois without that class?

Oh and to make it F4i related what oil should i use when i change it?

Either you find a private motorcycle school and pay about $350 for their class- we have them in Chicago- don't know about Southern Illinois.

You can try and become a "walk-in" at the class you were late for.

You can take the skills test at the DMV and get licensed.

in some states like here in ca if you are under 21 it is required that you take the msf course to get your licence.

i would suggest signing up again and next time dont be late.

Take the MSF course when you are 18. Even if you took the MSF course and passed, you would get your permit, not your license. In order to get your M class license if you are under 18, you have to take the MSF class(then you get a permit). Then you have take the test at the DMV. You may also have to have the permit for a certain amount of time before you can take the test. You will not be able to take the skills test at the DMV when you are 17 without a permit. You cannot get a permit without the MSF course at 17. Its a pain in the *** on purpose.

^ that sounds really complicated and sucks. here in order to take the msf if you are under 21 you must have your permit 1st then you can take the msf class and get your licence. .

the permit is kinda a joke here. i got my permit before i even had my bike.you just go in and take a written test ..thats all and you are legally able to ride a motorcycle , its really no wonder there are so many inexperienced riders on the road

The permit test in IL is the same, you take a written test (which is very easy). In IL, anyone with a driver's license (or even driver's permit) can take the MSF. The State of IL also offers the MFS class for free, which is why it is so hard to get a spot.

I regestered for my class the day after the dates were posted. The first date for the class is in April, which I was hoping to get since I had registered so early (or so I thought). I ended up getting a date is Sept.

The law in illinois is if you are under 18 u have to take the class....if you are 18+ you can just go to the dmv take the test and get your license.

Areacode what do you mean go to the dmv and take a skills test? I thought you had to be 18?
