Default Mods for trackdays?

Im beginning to use my bike more and more on the track.

i have a lot of different mods on the bike, but most of them are "show off" mods, and dont do any good on the handling/preformance if you know what i mean.

is there any stuff anyone can recommend for track use on the CBR 600 f4i?

Tires. Splurge on them. I haven't been personally, but holy cow they make a difference. You'll get rub off on your street tires, and makes the walls pretty worthless after a while. Buddy of mine goes every other weekend, and he has three sets he uses. One to drive around, two on the track ( a day to save the life ). But other than that, sprockets, and maybe an extension, but you'll have to ask around, preferences for everything.

Gearing depends on the track.

Get you a good set of tires and got -1 on the front sprocket and + 2 on the rear maybe upgrade your brakes at the least some speed bleeders and steel braided lines and practice!

Well, I'm going to be opposite from everybody else in this thread. I read Nesba's forums all the time and most people will tell you you're better off spending money on suspension components than go-fast parts at the track. If you can come out of the corner faster it makes a huge difference. Once you have mastered that then I would get the chain kit or power-ad ons.

Just my opinion.
