Default Mods for Comfort

Would anyone consider their f4i comfortable? If so, what are some modifications you've made to improve the comfort/riding position?

Someone put on some light bar ends and I replaced them with heavier ones and also the grips. I was thinking about getting a corbin seat and GenMar risers and maybe some sort of throttle lock?

Corbin seat is by far the biggest thing you can do comfort-wise, in my opinion.

Throttle lock is a nice benefit, only because it lets you move around your throttle hand more often without messing with acceleration.

I wouldn't ever do handlebar risers because I use the performance of the bike too much. If you do very little sporty riding then it's not that big of a deal.

Beyond that, I'm no help.

I'm pretty comfortable on my F4i. But I cheat since I got the 'nana seat. Grab bar on the back is great for stretching too

No, but I'd like to. My hands go numb after an hour or so.

Mines also pretty comfortable. Nanner seat also buy I know once I got new barends (bike didn't have them when I got it) some nice gel grips a pair of gel palm gloves that made a big difference. I do wanna get either a Corbin seat or have some new foam put on mine since its pretty worn out. Although I would like to try the heavier weight barends to see how that works out.

Numb hands are typically caused more by posture, hand placement and grips / vibration rather than overall bike comfort. The risers will likely help that, but you should consider trying various positions for your hands, shoulders and whatnot to see if anything seems to help. Remember not to lock your elbows, keep your back straight, etc.

dirt bike bars are the best thing for comfort on a bike. Or get some clip ons with some rise in them.
