Default modifying the stock clip-on

The stock clip on has that nub on the bottom that locks into the fork and keeps the stock position of the clip on with no room of adjustment. Has anyone ever cut off the nub on the stock clip on so that you can change the angle in which they are set at stock? Or do most just go with aftermarket clip ons?

Default RE: modifying the stock clip-on

many people have, especially stunters. some just grind away the sides of them so there is more adjustment, but it still has the nubs on it. either way is fine.
