Dang, you found a pair at a steal, the visibility is on par with stock mirrors, you'll have to move around/adjust your elbows to get a good view behind you, really they're just a "visual" upgrade, not much of an upgrade in function/visibility IMOHO.
For the price I think they are a pretty good product though (especially for the price you just found them at)

well they should be an upgrade from the little dinky mirrors i got. they are about half the length of these lol.

Lol, yea, I had really tiny bar-end mirrors on my CB-750 for a while that I just couldn't get used to, I ended up buying the original OEM mirrors that cost way too much.

These ebay mirrors are good quality though, cheaply priced too, they angle out a little more than stock as well, not much, but you get a slightly better view than OEM.

If i were to go carbon fiber..I'd get real ones
