Depends on what kind of driving i do but its usually 150-160 when the light first comes on with about 60% city 40% highway but i go pretty quick on the highway. If i ride with someone else or something like that it might be 140ish. However it does seem like i could go another 50-70 miles on the tank after the light comes on. How much do you guys put it when your light comes on?

Hahaha! What are your highway RPM's like?

And to the op, you're right on target with that mileage. Nothing abnormal there.

My fuel light kicks on at 120-130 miles every tank, with stock sprockets. and thats with a new FPR and 87 octane. im hoping a power commander will help mpg in the future. I've read alot of F4is (guys on this forum) getting 150-160 on average....i've never come close to 160 per tank.

And crashking do you have a speedohealer? if not your registering more miles than you are actually riding.

On my 04 F4i, I usually get right around 140 miles before the reserve "bars" come up. Thats about 40-42 MPG so I figure I can go another 35 miles on reserve, making a total of around 175 miles on a full tank.

Not exactly sure how many miles I could really get out of a tank. Last time my reserve lights came on (which is a while ago), my odo read around 165 miles. I have -1/+2 gearing, which means I really had about 138 miles on the tank. I usually do about 39-41 mpg.

Edit: After doing the math, I could probably squeak past 200 miles on a full tank. Didn't realize it was that much.
