You were able to fit that tire on that rim???? I'm sure you had to make a geometry change to get your turning stability back.

Yes the 190 will fiton the same width wheel(5.5 inch). However, I wouldn't recommend it if you enjoy turning more than drag racing. The 180/55 has a larger contact patch than a 190/50forturning. Reason being, it has a taller profile so there's technically more rubber to use in leaning/turning. A taller profile gives you better steering quickness as well. And yes the Pilot Power 2CT(2Compound Technology IIRC)is a great tire but unless you're going to the track, I'd just go with the regular Pilot Power and save a few bucks. You'll still love the regular Pilot Power. I know I do..

my friend rocks them. he said they heat up 1/2 way to work (5 miles to here from his house)

I just got some battleax tires. They were an amazing upgrade from the crap i had before!
That is what I have, as well. Great tire, but I have heard nothing but good concerning the Pilot Powers.

Tireexpress.com has them for $229 for both and I think $20 to ship. I still have my original D207 on my 02' F4i...need to get some new rubber soon.

Yup I still got my original Battleaxe tires on mine and they have tons of tread left, but I think for my own safety I should think about getting some freshnew ones very soon

I know they have TONS of tread life left, but I'm mainly more concerned about the actual life/aging of the rubber since they're the OEM ones from 2001.....u know???
