Default Measurement request

My front fairing stay bent inward when I dropped the bike at the track
Could someone let me know what the distance is between the tips of the fairing stay, and what the distance is from each tip to say the center of the gas cap? I'll try to bend them back in shape...
also for centering... what is the distance from the left tip to say the center of the rpm meter?

I want to fix it before I put in my new windscreen!
Thanks in advance!!

Mine's bent too..the front brake cylinder is hitting the windscreen[:@] If you have any luck bending it back into shape please let me know. I've tried with just my own brute force and failed.

IIRC once the fairing stay is bent, it's toast. It's so hard to get it back into shape that if you're able you break it.

If it's a dedicated track bike, I'm sure someone makes a race stay that can be bent/rebent. Otherwise checkout eBay.

I was in the same predicment where my reservoir cover got scratched by the windscreen bolt. Never quite figured it out, but I did try and bend it a mm or 2. I think my front alignment was the culprit (triple trees).

It also may be the lower part of the fairing stay, also. When I nose-dived into a ditch, my handlebars were hitting the upper part. So I replace it. Had the same problem. Had to replace the lower portion as well. You can find both for like $90, which isn't too bad.

I was thinking maybe once you heat it, it might be more bendable, but have yet to try..

I have a brand new lower if you are interested PM me I will sell it cheap. You MUST HEAT IT UP. I broke one and had to weld it and it isn't right but it works. It also is a pain to weld.

I bent it back upright quite a ways actually. Both handlebars were hitting, and now neither does. It's only a cm bent at most now, that's why I wanted measurements so that the fairing fits all the bolts properly. I think the lower is ok since the gauge cluster looks to be in place (the clutch wire covers the same part of the lcd panel [:@]). How do I make sure?
I believe only the two things that the mirrors screw into are bent.
whtan20, you just need more force than you think(or feel like applying to your baby!). You might need another person holding the bike.
No it's not a dedicated track bike... it's my one and only mode of transport!
