Default Making your STOCK EXHAUST LOUD.

Most of us get rid of our Stock pipe and go with a nice slip on mainly for the noise. This season is almost done and something to tie me over for the rest of the season came to mind.

Quite simple---I took a drill bit extender, one that was long enough to reach the baffle inside the exhaust and drilled a hole in it. One hole hardly did anything so i drilled two more then whalaw---LOUDER!

I think most people change out the stock exhaust because its FUGLY and for the sound as a secondary benefit

Ummm ya...all that work to actually KEEP that hideous torpedo? I swapped mine out not only for a cleaner, louder sound but mainly for its WEIGHT! I remember taking it off and being like..wow...now my bike is an easy 355lb dry weight

I second the Pics, I wouldn't mind trying this just to see. Im looking at getting a new exhaust because the stock is so quiet but just dont have the funds right now.

Please post pics.

And also Does it sound good (not like the civics when people do that). as well is that going to effect anything in the engine (because of not restricted as much exhaust).
Im a newbie still and just dont want to mess anything up.

as opposed to using a drill bit and extension...why not just use an installer type drill bit that is already like 16" long?? maybe i am under-estimating the length of a stock muffler...

^^^^^^That thought kept me from shortening my Two Bro's muffler for the longest time. Being that it's easy to do something, but not always easy to undo it.

Hey!!! I've already done that to my stock exhaust. The only thing i did was cutting the can at the bottom side, right where is the solder, the you remove all the crap that is inside and then you solder it again and voliá!!!! I love it and it only cost about $20 us dllrs....
