thinking about gettin a new high mount for my 05 f4i and i was just curious about what people thought. I can't tell by the pics i've seen of the micron high mount but does the micron extend farther than the end of the tail? i want the hight mount to be flush with the tail and i was just wondering if the micron was like that. From what i've seen it looks like the m4 is but if anyone knows different any info would help. Also, i've listened to clips of each pipe online and i like them both, has anyone heard each one in person? How are the build quality of each? Any answers to any of these questions would help. Thanks

 

I have a full micron exhaust not a high mount but i am not happy with it at all, I plan on going to a Muzzy full next

 

I got the carbon M4 high mount and i love the way it sounds and looks. I was looking and the tip ends right with the tail and follows it nicely. If you want i can snap some pics of it and show you how it would look I just got inot bikes so im not sure how it sounds compared to others let me know how to take a sound clip and i can do that to.

I'm gonna check out the M4 site and see if i can get a good pic but if it's not too much of a hassel could u post some of different angles? i like how the micron mid pipe bends and how it goes right along the tail but i can't remember if the M4 was like that or not. ive been thinkin about getting a highh mount too but will i have to remove the pass. foot pegs and will my rear blinker be in the way??

 

with some of the high mounts you lose the passenger foot pegs but with some you get to keep them. I'm not positive about the blinker, i never really thought to much about it because when i do end up getting a high mount i'll probably get an integrated tail light so i wouldn't have to worry about that. Sorry i couldn't answer your question.

 

I have an 02 f4i with a high-mount two bros exhaust. I was seriously thinking about getting the M4 because you CAN keep the rear footpegs. I got the 2bros, however, because I found one on ebay for cheap. I found out that, for our bikes specifically, the 2bros is the best for performance, the 2bros and the m4 sound the best, the micron sucks, and the m4 is the least expensive (usually). i'm pretty set on the m4 and i was just curious, should i go with the titanium highmount or the aluminum? I want the pipe to shine like the stock one does now and i'm curious to which one would do that or if they both would and what would be the advantages/disadvantages of both.
