I would recommend finding decent condition OEM fairings, and fixing them up if necessary. Now I admit that I have no experience with any kind of aftermarket fairing except for the cheap-*** upper that I bought off Ebay that I took out of the box, looked at it, and immediately emailed the company asking to return it. But from everything I've heard, unless you are getting race fairings, stick with OEM.
That's just my opinion. It isn't hard to fix minor rash and cracks in a fairing.
