looking for a 600?
Looking mostly at 01-05 f4i and the 03rr ,03R6 and 01-03 gixer but the cbr is filling more rolls like comfort and reliability so given the bikes what's y,alls thoughts it will be used as a commuter bike mostly.

Commuter bike = F4i.
I have heard the 04-06 seat is the most comfortable and all F4i's have the best seating for a commuter.
Coming from a guy that puts on about 800km/week.

Yeah, but thats only a $50 part every 20,000-30,000kms or so....

Yup, You can replace it with an APE Manual tensioner as well and then if it makes the noise you can just tighten it and be on your way.

Yes and no. They "upgraded" the design throughout the years since they knew they had a problem. But one from an '01 fits an '06 and vice-versa.
