Default Limited Edition?

So I was doing some research on my bike to find out why it has "Limited Edition" plaques on the sides. Is this just for the color or are there actual engine or body changes done to it?

Some info on my bike
-2001 CBR f4i
-Black frame and I believe the original color scheme was black and silver

Thanks

leftmouse,

Removed your VIN from your post to protect your privacy.

Good luck finding info on your bike. I've not hear of a special edition either but that doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

Perhaps post up some nice clear detailed pics of your bike for more views.

That looks like an auto placard that someone just put on there.

ya that's what I was thinking but the way it's attached is like a seal around the inside, the way most cars have theirs done

Like the "turbo" chevy spectrum , "r-type" chevy cavalier, "///M" honda or the "SVO" SportTrac (this guy at least got part of it right... but they never made an SVT or SVO SporTrac as far as I'm aware. I think they made an "SHO" explorer tho...)

Looking at the pics it looks like it was a limited edition to a specific owner not from the manufacture kinda like me saying mine is a SS because I feel it is

Bike wasn't built with those is what I am saying
