I replied to your old thread already...but it's near the rear shock and really close to the engine. Almost under the gas tank, it was really hard to pull out there's not much slack. That's why the o2 sensor wire is so long. If you still need pics let me know i have some.

ya if you could send me some pics that would be sweet. because when I bought the bike it had a full erion exhaust system on it. so there was no o2 sensor on it, when I got it. so I have no idea where it goes. thanks.

Is it a Ca. Model, if not you don't have an O2 sensor.

it's an 02 but everything I've looked at online, and on here people say they have them on the 02's. but if I'm not supose to have one. why would my bike start and after like 5 sec. the fi light comes on and stays solid. and it's running really rich! and really crappy gas mileage.

It's kinda hard to tell from the pics but it's the yellowish white connector and it's all the way deep in there and there's no slack in the wire to pull it out, you kinda have to push it from the back to actually connect something to it.

I tried to progressively show a farther pic, so the first pic is closest, 2nd closet, then as far as i could get without being unable to see it. The yellow thing is the rear shock.

thanks whtan20! I'll look for that in the morning. would you be able to tell me what year your f4i is? just to make sure, cuz some of these guys on here are saying that the earlier modles don't have an o2 sensor. but I'm pretty sure that mine has one. thats the only reason I can come up with why my bike is running rich.

Mines an 02, and i'm pretty sure all bikes in CA need an O2 sensor. Maybe different years in other states may vary but yeah not in CA. Good luck with it.
