Default My first bike in 5 years!!

This is my machine, it is all I drive. I bought it 4 weeks ago, and I have managed to put over 2k miles on it. The mileage was 6,712 so now do the math. So far I have added a Dan-Moto slip on exhaust flush mounts signals in the front and did the -1/+2 sprocket change out. I think I will change the sprockets back the bike just feels better the way it came. This is a really good bike and is lots of fun. My wife likes to hop on the back and go places on the weekends too so all is well.

Lovely bike, how does that exhaust sound? I've been thinking about getting it.
Any chance of you making a short video of it?

Yes they are. Bought them off of ebay. Took them about about a month to get to my house in VA. Came with black intake covers and front fender which i had painted along with the tank. I wouldn't expect them to be perfect but they well worth the money in my opinion. White on white will look really nice! Good luck with the build.

Default 2005 CBR F4i "Happy Birthday to Me!"

2005 CBR F4i
Silver
2300 miles

Background... I live in Minneapolis MN. Saw this bike on Chicago Craigslist the morning of June 7th (my birthday), guy was asking $4000. Got him to $3500. Was on a plane to Chicago by 4:PM and was driving it back at 8:PM. Very small scratch on right side fairing, other than that, like new. "Happy Birthday to Me"

I'm in Roanoke. The bike scene is a little lame down here. Bunch of Harley riders. There is a group of sport bike riders that meet up on most weekends. I tried riding with them a couple times but they sit in parking lots and hangout for more time than they do actually riding. So, I normally just hit up a few friends and go ride. Some really nice roads around here once you get away from the city.

Would not mind making a video of it at all. In fact I made one with my digital camera only to discover that my camera for some reason does not do sound. I shot another video with my I-Phone and I emailed it to myself. Well the fun thing there is that for what ever reason it will not let me save the video to my computer, nor can I upload it here. I talked to my step-son about my issue he is going to let me use his camera and I will do a video with it and we should be in good shape. I have put about 1,500 miles on the exhaust. It sounds different than it did when I got it. Nice high pitched moto-gp type sound going down the road, and a low deep sound at idle. My bike does not backfire at all, and everything fit nicely, I can tell you that it is quality. If you got to the section that has all of the threads about repairs and modifications you will see that I did a short write up and took a lot of photos of my exhaust. I was quite impressed with the quality. I am enjoying this bike a lot.
