wow...I didnt even know they made sliders that hooked onto that mount. I feel like I can rip that off with my bare hands.

 

we'll settle this. THIS is an updated pic of my bike, from me CHOPPING the exhaust. Sounds and looks SO MUCH BETTER. NO rear pegs, no ugly mount no 10mile long exhaust. .... AND BTW I GOT MY SOLO SEAT COWL IN TODAY!!! CANT WAIT!!!!! Targa.

Did you add some other kind of fastener to help hold your exhaust or do you just have that one clamp holding your mid pipe on

 

Kdub I was wondering the same exact thing all day. I would have asked but I thought for sure I could come up with it myself. Turns out I couldn't. So yeah how are you holding up your can. Also why take off the pass. pegs?

 

lol My brother tried that on his 954 and it didnt work out to well for hem or the truck that ran it over

 

/sigh.... I am trying to make it look as racey as possible.....I just installed the targa solo seat cowl, so what good are the pegs? I think they look UGLY as hell, before i would put them back on tho, Powdercoating......because of how short the can is now, the springs are more than enough support. the leverage is way further down the pipe. I have the mid-pipe dbl clamped to the headers for extra security, and also the can that is on here, I dont believe its for an f4i because when clamped, it rubs against the swingarm.....not good....at all. So I shorten the beast lose the pegs, have a louder exhaust and visually more appealing in my opinion
