Ya NateDiesel mine (Black WS6) was a 2002..last year they made em! Thing was the batmobile..t tops and all black leather...the reflective decals (bird/pontiac/trans am decals reflected bright silver at night so all you would see is the decals and hear the longtubes lol...it scared the chit out of people!) It did though have a pretty noticeable piston slap from the factory...no loss in power or anything but just got a little anoyying at times for a perfectionist like me...before the LS1, I had that LT1 pictured and before that I had a L98 trans am GTA. I loved that damn LT1..I had my laptop sitting on my passanger seat hooked up to my ECM logging and flashing the ECM almost daily to squeeze out every last piece of Hp Ahhh the automobile days...I've moved to bikes now

if i put on the AVO turbo kit that Rallitek sells, i'll be putting 300 to the ground. I've got the ported and polished heads, and a race cam. full cold air intake, equal length header, and full cat-back exhaust. the intake manifold is currently getting bored a little on the inside. I'm one of the first ones on the list when AVO comes out with their new kit for the EJ253. Don't worry, i'll get boosted, I just don't like when people say all motor is cheap. I beat on WRX's and GTI's around here all the time and i'm all motor. i'd like to see your car, post it up!!

No worries, Ya I was pretty vague.
ZMD your from IL- Ihad it at joliet 66 non stop..I was always there with a buddy of mine who had a 383 stroker Z28! I almost blew that (LS1) motor numerous times and it was all due to the cam..I had a close buddy who did a lot of mapping so we did most of the ECU setups (couldv been the reason for soo many motor issues) The car became a track ***** after a while..K-member, a-arms, PHB, LCA, SFC's,Torque Arms, slicks etc..To be honest I think it was more like 10.8's but I round down ; )

I thought I was going to have to ask you to..

Yeah I love the WS6's. my Mustang was faster than my TA but I loved them both. I wish I still had the mustang to be honest. I too have moved onto bikes at the moment, but I need a Vette within the next 3 years or i'll die. Literally Die.

I go to the local 1/4 mile track here a decent amount. I know some people that have fast cars. One guy has a 600+hp 78ish corvette. All motor no FI or nitrous. He runs 10.4s consistantly. His motor was built by bischoff motors. A big name in drag racing.
I still dont believe it to be honest. Maybe if you had a time slip, but til then I would say mid 11s on slicks

What exactly is the argument here - noober's LS1 hitting high 10's with what he listed? Which was full bolt on / suspension work?
