Hey guys. Just got another bike. My last bike was 2 years ago and was a lightly modded '97 600F3.

Picked up this jewel about 2 weeks ago. 2001 F4i, 26k miles. Mirror windscreen, flush mount signals, fender delete, custom undertail, custom paint & lettering, polished wheels, yoshi pipe, frame sliders. I dont plan on doing anything to it other then stomp grips, and maybe a targa cover.

Be careful with that Mirrored windscreen SHugo, the mirrored effect in the sun can act like a magnifying glass and focus the suns rays onto your instrument cluster causing it to melt. Saw it happen to a friend of mines F4i.

The cheap fix to it is just remove the windscreen and paint the underside a solid black, so the sun can't penetrate through.

But that's just my 2cents.

this was my baby last season. put some work into it. had full hindle exhaust, supersprox sprockets. DID 520 conversion chain. HID kit, bmc filter. PCIII dyno tuned.
custom painted, pearl black with gold flake, powder coated levers rear sets and bolts to match. and yea some gold rim tape figured i would give it a try. was still on the fence about it. also had the gold shocker on the windscreen.

unfortunately i highsided this little guy.

i now have another F4i also a 2001, but its a bit rashed up. it will be more of a trackday bike for now. and i will get somthing clean again next season.

hope you all like it as much as i did.

is there a front brake cable? i thought the lever kinda just pushed in a button on the master cylinder to activate the front brakes? I ask cuz i just took my levers off while waiting for my pazzo's to come in and dont remember taking off any kind of brake cable. i broke the brake lever in a crash (hence the replacement) and i'm hoping im not missing a piece or anything

MadDogMcQ, I noticed some cool things on your bike that are not over here in the US. Passing button, HISS system, and the fork adjusters to name a few. Pretty sweet!

Thanks Axsys, I can never understand why the US Market doesn't get a passing button. A friend and I bought new FJR1300's in 2007 but his was an American Import and the flasher was missing of that too. Never understood the reason for it. Is it illegal to flash your headlight as a means of communication in the US?

Over here, it is the accepted method of letting someone know that it's okay to pull out or cross your path. Mind you, that's why the popular "Headlamp Modulators" are not a hit in the UK. There'd be too many misinterpretations
