RE: lay down vs. dropped?
If I was considering buying your bike from you and you told me that it fell over in the driveway once and had some cosmetics that were fixed I'd think differently about it than if you told me that you were going 50 mph and "layed it down". There's much less likelihood that a frame is bent, etc if a bike's fallen over as opposed to being layed down.
But either way, I'm going to want to see some receipts of for the replacement parts you bought, as well as ask where you had the service done, as well as request that I get it inspected before I buy it. Just to cover my ***...

RE: lay down vs. dropped?
thanks for the replies i knows its an odd question but it happened the other day a guy went thru a stop sign as i was pulling out of a drive way and it caught me by surprise and i stopped but lost my balance and instead of it falling on me i got off and laid it on the ground and then then lifted it back up (bad shoulder so i couldnt keep it from falling over) anyways it only has small scratches on the fairing about the size of a quarter. reason i asked is cuz i dont want to spend 300 bucks on a new fairing and i know i wont be able to buff the scratches out completely so when i trade it in or sell it i wanted to know what i should say.
