Default Kickstand

I need to weld the flat plate on the bottom of my kick stand. Do I need to remove it from my bike or can I weld it while its on the bike? If I leave it on the bike do I need to disconnect the battery or anything like that?

I would pull it off the bike for several reasons.. but why not just pick up another stand of ebay for like $20? might be easier unless you are very good at welding..

I ended up just pulling off the kick stand before welding it. I figured better safe then sorry, when it comes down too removing two bolts.

Yeah...eBay is better, but sometimes you need to sharp shoot...don't buy it right off the bat...be patience and the right part + right price will come.

I just won new pair of Gaerne sport touring boot for $100....damn...a pair of Element already cost $79.00

Deal like this comes once a while when seller really has no need for it & in hurry for some cash...
