Default K&N Air Filter w/ slip on exhaust......

Will this require a PC due to more airflow? I already have a slip on and thats it, I want to get a K&N but want to avoid the PC route right now should I stay with a stock airfilter right now or go ahead and get the K&N?

You will most likely need a PCIII with a K&N and slipon, but prolly can get by w/o one for a bit

Get the K&N. You should notice a slight difference. You're not gonna get a whole lot until you dyno it and get a custom map for your PC.

The aftermarket stuff changes the air/fuel ratio and a PCIII adjusts the a/f ratio so the bike runs its best.

I've ran the stock air and K&N filters with a slip on (no PCIII at the time) and it didn't make a noticeable difference.

The beauty of the K&N is that it is cleanable not that it increases power. Or frees up I should say.
