So I bought my bike last Nov. It was a salvage. here are some pics

stator cover was cracked


and rash all over the left side





other wise its fine. so i fixed the mirror, signals, and stator cover and it is ridable. I cant get it registered yet cause i cant get the liscense plate working yet, and it has to pass inspection. But ill get that once i go home from school so anways i just bought this off ebay

im sooo excited. i think its gonna look SWEET! anywho i was just excited so i had to tell someone (i have been watching the kits on ebay since Nov.) I let you all know how to fitment and whatnot goes once they get here

 

i think the fairing kit is actully red...it'll look good i like the helmet and jacket also......

 

you might be right, and if you are ill be super disappointed

but black/red is my second favorite

 

uhh, yeah the fairing are supposed to be red.lookslike the color is washed in the pic. Is that the kit from Hong Kong? do tell how it turns out.
when that guy first started selling them, he was having alot of issues, but I have been keeping up on his reviews, and most feedback says they are about
right for the price, others are ticked becuase the paint is not perfect.

i bought the exact same kit and installed it. i probably got it from a different ebayer but he probably got it from the same manufacturer. the person i bought mine from didn't pack it well and 4 out of 6 pieces were damaged. i was able to fix the broken pieces with high strength epoxy. i was disappointed with the fitment of the pieces and it took some heavy duty pressure to get the parts installed. some of the paint cracked in the process. all in all i'm happy with how the bike turned out. i got what i paid for. good luck with yours and i hope you have a better experience than i did. that's the bike in my sig.

 

ya i read most of the feedback said his stuff was good, so we will see

it makes sense that it would be red, but it looks really orange check these out.

Yea, they look orange to me as well but I dont think the HK bums are willing to give you some thing custom at all. Although, orange would look nice on the F4I
Daemian, you should really add frame sliders to your list of stuff to get.

 

yea if it is orange that will look cool, but so will black and red and yea like alekinci said i would get some sliders
