Been shopping around lately for an F4i and finally something came around that I think I might be interested in. Just wondering what you guys thought of this.

It's a 2001 with:
24000 kms
red and white
female owner
new rubber and battery
power commander
alarm system
Yoshimura tri-oval pipe
CBR grips
frame sliders
rear set adapters (1" up, 1" back)
rear stand
cover

She said she'd let her go for $5700 cdn. It's red and white and looks like it's in good condition.

Thing I noticed is the colouring on some of the panels don't match the original colour scheme. For example, the tail is red when the stock colour scheme should be white. Makes me think it was dropped and replaced. Is there anything I've gotta look out for or does it sound like an alright deal? Any feedback would help thanks.

i bought a 2004 F4i with 2800 miles, perfect condition, never layed down, polished wheels, came with helmet and jacket for $5,500.

I thought that was a good deal.

What is the conversion rate? $5700 US would be too much for that bike!

 

All the women I know that ride beat the hell out of their bikes.

 

Its actually $5,400. The same price I paid for my '04 and their buying I believe an '01. no brainer.

 

$5400 is too much for that bike, as well. Don't get hosed, homey!

 

I paid 4000.00 usd for my 2004 cbrf4i 5558 miles onit ..Im the second owner .. has a custom yellow paint i picked out with no stickers ..

 

Man, the news u guys are giving me sux . I was certain this was the one too. I guess I'll shop around a little. Just afraid I wont be able to pick something up before the season's over. The lowest F4i I've seen around here is like $4500 but I've only seen 1. I guess I gotta think this through a little more.
