so I just got my hotbodies undertail kit for my 06 f4i but i'm getting pretty nervous about the installation. it came with instructons but they're unclear as hell. this is my first bike and I don't wanna fk it up. i searched every forum online and every site and every search engine, only to find NOTHING on how to install this/what to cut etc.... with step by step instructions... anybody know where I can find something like that?

if you happen to be near Charlotte NC i can help you do it. when i did it i went from a hotboddies backto stock but didnt take photos but its not hard just measure twice cut once and get a service manual it has lots of pics and info

 

That's the diagram for the rear taillight section. The wires are color coded (G-green, O-orange, etc). You might have to experiment with the color combo. I'm working on a write up for this, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask them, i'll do my best to help you out! Good luck!

thanks for the link but that's for the 01-03 f4i, mine is a 06. i got the PDF for the 06, but i'm just wondering if anybody has a detailed step by step write up on the install.. the hotbodies directions are just too confusing seems like..
