Just got done researching insurance rates

Just got done researching insurance rates
Ok, i'm a 21yo male, chicago, il area. I got 3 quotes today on an 06 f4i, figuring that would be the most expensive, and then it would go down slightly as the model year got older and older.
Here is the coverage i requested (to compare apples to apples):
250/500/100 liability
1000 medical per person
500 deductible on collision and comprehensive
250/500 uninsured/underinsured motorist
here are my rates:
State Farm $1037.16/yr (added onto my car policy)
Nationwide $1201.28 (with my AMA and MSF discounts)
Progressive $803.00
depending on how tight money is when i get my bike, i will either go with the cheapest, which is progressive, or i will go with state farm, since i'm already cool as hell with my agent.

RE: Just got done researching insurance rates
I didn't bother looking around because I am under an umbrella policy of my parents, so my state farm was $50 a month full coverage, it was a no brainer. The one thing I did however like about State farm was that they only base their rates off engine displacement. It was cheaper for me to own a CBR f4i than a ninja 650 or something else of higher displacement but lower power. I don't know if this is how all companies do it, but it was just nice because I wanted a bike that falls into what most people generally consider the most dangerous breed of bikes.

cool, i might end up going progressive to save a few bucks. just for ****s, i had state farm quote an 08 ninja 650, $1320/yr. 08 ninja 250r, $662/yr. It is true that state farm goes on displacement alone. we'll see what ends up happening though.
