99.95 off Ebay, I went with the Gloss Black Color. I have a 2002 Silver and Red F4i and the license plate holder (stock and current) is black of course, the bottom of the passenger seat that piece there is silver and the choices were winning red, gloss black, yellow or white. Was going to go red, but if it was not dead on would have looked terrible in my opinion.

Anyways, does anyone happen to have this undertail? It looked good to me for 100 bucks, well constructed and looks good and I could not take the rear turn signals anymore or back of the bike, it looked terrible and needed desperately to have a cleaner look. Im hoping the gloss black looks good against the silver, guess ill know soon enough....

Are undertails easy (generally speaking) to install barring they fit properly and whatnot?

I just ordered the same one but for the 04-06 models, so I hope it's good as well lol. My current undertail is a bit beat up.

 

Oh nice aight then. Im not extremely technical, but I know how to do a few things. Ill have to come to you for any questions on the install, hope its easy.

What color did you go with? You think Gloss Black will look good on a silver and red f4i?

 

I got the gloss black one, figured there can't be that much of a difference between blacks, since I have the black and yellow F4i lol. Black should be alright on your bike. Mine hasn't come in yet, but I'll let you know how the install is. Hope it's not too bad lol.

 

For 99$ I would hope it's really easy. If it isn't I'm sure any adjustments needed won't be too hard, after all it's just going to replace what's already there, I'd think it would actually be hard to mess up too bad? Should be a screw in application.

 

yea I have that exact one I bought it about 1 year ago and its still looking good. It was fun to install,but if you need refrences for install let me know.

 

How visible are the turn/ brake lights? Some of the undertails have crap LEDs and you can really see them that well
