any input on frame slider installation on these bikes?

splicing is involved yes.. soldering is optional you can always just use shrink wrap... there is a wiring diagram floating around somewhere here ur gonna prolly need....

as for sliders there are two techniques... here is the one i used...

thanks man! im gonna have the dealer install the under tail. im not good with wires..

JMO.. dont really like that undertail.. .most of those types of taillights are not really visible... the pimpbodies undertail looks much better IMO... and then you can use a larger (theoretically more visible) OEM or OEM-ish LED taillight...

People usually have bad things to say about the longer sliders on here.. as zmds said... I have a set of Vortex pucks sitting here to replace the ones on my bike.. just need the bases...

this under tail is extremely bright. almost brighter then oem. confirmed by a vid taken by a user on this site.

ohh and connecting those wires is not hard at all. i can definately walk you through it. and although solder is reccommended its not required. like z said heat shrink tube works well and i have been known to Etape small wires like this even though everyone says its ghetto and wont last blah blah i just dont do high amp/volt jobs with it. or anything that can be seen or get wet and i wrap it tight and exesive like its a wiring harness.
