Just bought Replicals decals.....
Just got these ( http://www.replicals.com/product_inf...products_id=92 ) in the mail. As soon as I opened them I knew they were cheap. First off, especially for larger decals, they should be placed on that "sticky" paper so you press the whole thing up against the fairing and peel the back off. These are simply stickers. They also have a clear border around them unlike the OEM ones. They have a texture to them, meaning they are not smooth and shiny. And more importantly the color does not match. I don't know if they will look good on the bike but I don't want to risk it. I would rather get my 70 bucks back. Sorry, as you can see I'm pretty upset. Anyone know another company that makes a similar decal?

That clear that goes around the edge actually peels off. so it has a white paper backing and then the clear top protectant. So peel off the backing and then apply the decal and then removed the "clear" edges and then it will stock. I think you are just skipping that step.. I have used those exact ones before and they looked completely stock and matched so you could hardly notice a difference.

I have never used those decals but I can vouch for tapeworks.com out of Raleigh, NC. I ordered a couple of sets of decals, one stock set for my RR, cost me $100 but the quality is A++ and so is the customer service. They have a huge selection and lots of examples in case those don't work out for you...
