Default Just about to hit 14k

My 01 is about to hit 14k miles and I am wondering if i should be doing anything maintenance wise to the bike cuz i keep hearing people doing all sorts of stuff around 15. I do my scheduled oil changes and the bike runs perfect everything is in check except the annoying cct. So im just checkin in to see if I should be doing anything? Thanks

Nothing important is really needed. Just check your fluids, maybe check your plugs and wires if you're really hardcore about it. Otherwise most stuff is saved for ~16k.

Ditto to Aken. You can check everything else to make sure it's fine, but other than that, the maintenance is scheduled for the 16k mile mark.

I thought that I read somewhere that the air filter should be replaced around 10k? I could be wrong though.

Renewing air filter is done at every 12k miles or 18 months (whichever comes sooner). Renewing brake fluid is done at every 12k miles or 2 years (whichever comes sooner).

At every 16k miles, you will of course do everything you should do at 8k miles plus check and adjust the valve clearances, and I believe to also renew the spark plugs.
