Default Jardine Street -vs- Race Core?

I was looking at the Jardine pipes and wanted to know if anyone has heard the difference between the street core and the race core? They look like real nice pipes but do not want to get the street core and be to quiet or get the race core and end up being overly loud like the D&D. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks,

You got it right. Race core has almost no baffles making the air pass with less resistance. Downside is that you'll blow the ear drums of everybody you pass even when lightly throttling. Street baffles sound great without being obnoxious.

the jardine street is NOT a wussy sounding pipe...but the race i would imagine sounds deafening.

i dunno i got a race or at least thats what I ordered from apex and it sounds pretty calm just sitting around and reving the bike it sounds nice not loud and cruising at 6k its not annoying. At idle I do have to talk over it when me and another person are on opposite sides of the bike when its parked. but I kind of wish I had gotten something louder hahah

Have any of you been able to compare the Jardine street core to a Two Bros slip on?

Have you actually heard this? I am looking at both and don't know which to get. I listened to the dyno tests on sportrider.com and it doesn't sound like the jardine is much deeper than the stock (my speakers suck so that could be the problem)

Those sportrider.com clips should not be taken too seriously

I mean it's great that they went thru the work of testing all the pipes & recorded it

But OUR bike doesn't sound anything like that.
They don't even say what brand of bike or even what size (cc) bike it is...u know??

EVERY bike sounds different
