Default Integrated tail light options

Hey guys,

I was browsing through eBay and found the following options.
Have any of you tried these? They look pretty good but hard w/o seeing them in person.
I am most concerned about brightness so anyone w/ experience please chime in. thanks

You could spend $25 bucks and intergrate your stock red taillight.

I have the Clear Alternatives intergrated taillight and I havent had a problem with it. It's plenty bright during the day.

I have a friend who has that. The only issue I saw was when I was following him, it was hard to see him signal his turn, unless you were almost right behind him.

I just installed leds for extra turn signals on my passenger pegs. Makes a big difference. Only cost an extra 40bucks and about 45 min of my time.

I have the blinkers hooked up now with no resistors, if you want I can try and get a video of the blinkers and the taillight in action. Lemme know...

I integrated my stock tail light for $10. My friends say it's pretty visable from a decent distance. When I hit the brakes it blinks faster so its more visable.

StuDog44,

Thanks for the videos. That's exactly what I was looking for.

Are they brighter compared to stock?
If you can get a video up of the blinkers, that would be awesome.

by the way, do I see blue/white LEDs at the bottom?

I'll try to get out and get you a video here in a few mins. I think it's brighter. It's very bright at night IMO. The blue/white light you see at the bottom is five white leds that are mounted and wired into the light from the factory, it's for lighting up your license plate. The way my custom undertail wasmade my taillight sits on a piece of SS like a shelf so it's reflecting off that. I'm going to eventually drill some holes in it to allow the light to shine down and not create that bluish looking light. Sorry for the long post! lol[8D]

EDIT:
Ok, here is one of the blinkers in my garage with the lights on. Hope this helps. It's not great.[8D]

Same here, i integrated my ole ladies stock one on her F4i. Blinks a tad bit faster, but it gets the job done. And it also passed the state inspection w00t!!!!!!!!!!.....=-)
