RE: INSURANCE???
Just got my Full Coverage quote from Farm Bureau. $544.10/yr full coverage, $100 Ded. for Comprehensive, $500 Ded. for Collision.
That breaks down to $46 a month.
The kicker is it looks like taking all my business to Farm Bureau is going to save me a couple grand a year.
BTW, I'm 30 married, 0-points, and have a "multi-product" discount because I am throwing everything together.
I think I was paying almost $180 a year for liability/uninsured-underinsured with progressive.

RE: INSURANCE???
sk8r20, Im glad you started the thread and you seems like your paying <500 for the year. THats good, now where are you from? Insurance rates go by counties, city and districts. If you live in a major city which I dont think you do then the price that you are getting is absolutely right.
I live in Bk NY, and I pay 530 for liability for the year and thats considered pretty cheap. However, its from some random insurance company that is controlled by some fat Russian guys with guns.
If you want to see the really prices for insurance, call up your State Farm broker and ask them a qoute for Full Coverage in 11235 zip.

RE: INSURANCE???
I am 35, one accident and pay $1152.00 with max coverages through Progressive. I am currently with Farmers for everything else, and would have been real cheap if I wanted to switch to State Farm. My Farmer's agent and most of the local offices are customer's of mine, so I plan on sticking with them for now.
