Installed new SLIPON. Bike Acts strange

Default Installed new SLIPON. Bike Acts strange

When i try to accelerate fast from a dead stop, it hesitate and then starts getting power slowly.

like if it doesnt have compression

its a stock CBR600 F4i (2002) witha D&D SlipOn



anybody has suffered from this?

this just started happening when i changed the exhaust pipe

Nop. I am located on Puerto Rico.

No O2 sensor .

I had the same problem with the D&D I had on there. I think a power commander will fix that problem. Or rev it high before taking off and it'll pull smooth, and LOUD. I think it has to do with how much air that pipe flows.

K&N airfilter will solve the problem! my F4i ran like **** too before i got my K&N airfilter now it runs GREAT!

That pipe is too free flowing and you are not getting enough backpressure. Like bls5782 mentioned, a power commander can help take care of that.

or you could just match the amount of air it needs with a K&N airfilter... thats what i did and it worked perfect!

You do realize that the K&N dosent flow much more than stock.

That is why half the MAPs on the Dynojet site say K&N OR Stock Filter.

If you want a better flowing filter the BMC Race is the way to go. If you just want to be able to wash and replace your filter the K&N is fine.

More that likely the hesitation is a fueling issue and can be fixed by installing a Power Commander. The PC will also smooth out the throttle response.

power commander comes preprogrammed/


I see on power commander website, different maps for differente bikes/exhaust/intake combination

but d&d is not listed
