You know, the black piece that fits directly behind the front wheel and connects both side pieces? Does anybody know exactly what the purpose of it is? Purely aesthetic I'm assuming. I finished the valve adjustment last week and am finally finishing putting all the plastics together. What an absolute pain in the ***! Literally a battle with every single piece. The actual valve adjustment was a cakewalk compared to putting the plastics back on.

The last straw is this inner half cowl. Just found out one of the inner side tabs is broken, and I have nowhere near the correct bolts and trim clips to put it back on. And of course lining it up is close to impossible. I'm thinking seriously about just chucking the damn thing if it doesnt serve any real purpose. Anyone else delete it all together?

 

It just directs air flow and block a little debris from the front tire.
