Default Impressed

I am new here and have spent quite a bit of time in the last few days browsing past threads and I have to say that this is THE most supportive, cooperative, understanding, inviting forum I have ever run across. I generally move on fairly quickly from forums because they are so often full of the self-righteous, arrogant ones who seem to get a kick out of making others feel like they are lesser beings because they ask questions. Perhaps I just haven't found those people here yet... we'll see!

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for keeping it open-minded!

I felt the same way when I found this site. I have yet to see a " Search Dumbass" response.

well, I've never use the "search dumbass" remark, but I have told people to utilize the search feature.

Anything related to

CCT
Suspenison
Undertail
Gas mileage
04-06 rear seat conversion
exhaust
wheelies
frame sliders
how to set the clock

has been covered over and over and could easily be found by doing a search in this forum or the DIY forum. I've found that it is usually new members that seem to create an account to ask a question. They haven't learned how useful the search feature is.

I do agree, this is the most informative forum that I have found.

I think the moderators may actually influence the tone of this forum for the better. But yes, there are so many people on this forum that have HUGE amounts of knowledge and they are willing to share it. Chainstretcher, TahoeSC come to mind, but there are so many others. But if you want to make someone mad, ask about the differences between the F4i and the 600RR, that will get the crazies out of the woodwork.

I'm glad you happy here. I've used the "search the forums" line at times b/c sometimes the topic is so highly talked about that it wouldn't be that hard to find. Nonetheless it familiarizes the members with the site too! But anywhoooo......ENJOY!
