For those of you who adjust their manual CCT:

How much do you tighten it usually? Like a half turn or something very small?

What a pain in the *** to turnthat bolt btw!

yes, this bike is a pain to adjust the CCT. If your trying to tune out the chain noise, you should use very small increments. If you just installing it, it's much easier to determine the basetension with the valve cover off. What's your situation? Tank on where you can start the bike to tune it out with the bike running or tank off?

I have the tank lifted up and have access to the CCT with my wrench. I probably went half a turn then ran the bike. I don't hear a rattle right now but I think i'll have to go for a ride to be certain it won't come back at different RPMs.

I should have ran it right before I adjusted it so I would have a refrence point for noise.. Too late!
