Default Ignition Advancer worth it?

A friend of mine just put an Ignition advancer on his 08 ZZR600. He swears its like a completely different bike, much better throttle response and more fun to ride. I found this one for the F4i http://www.starcycle-usa.com/servlet/Detail?no=6588. Does anybody have one of these on their F4i? Is it worth the purchase?

I have never heard of that before. Get it and tell us how it works for you.

According to Xtremef4i.. there is no noticeable difference https://cbrforum.com/m_317047/tm.htm
Its supposed to give it more usuable power at lower rpms, coming out of corners and such. Guess for $50 it was too good to be true

That just advances the timing. I have a factory pro one in my F4 but I got it in a box of stuff i bought. I didnt really notice a difference. with the F4i I dont know if the powercommander has the abillity or not but my yoshimura EMS can adjust the timing electronically.

If you get the PC ignition module to add on to the PC3 you can control Ignition timing. But a regular Power commander only does fuel
