Default I want your opinion on THESE stands

Here they are:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Motor...ht_4448wt_1167

I just need something to keep my bike straight and easy to move either when I'm working on it, or when I'm storing it. The price is what interests me, because as a college student, don't have very much spare cash, but I'm ordering parts based off of "need"

personally man i think in this category stands are stands.... if ur not using them for racing or to look pretty i dont think you can go wrong.... just make sure they are made of a good material and it looks like they are and email the seller if u have any second guesses.... i think ull be safe for what u want them for....

^So I'll have have to buy spools? I was under the impression the one from the rear sat under the swingarm on both sides, and the one in the front sat under the "axle"

Edit: Or did I just get that *** backwards? I'm pretty lost when stands/spools/swingarms are all thrown into the conversation.

F4i dont use spools (at least 01-03 dont) so no you dont have to buy them and cant buy them..however what chetman said the rear one looks like it is set up to use spools..so unless the rear comes with a pad for ur swingarm i wouldnt buy..my two cents

Yeah, the rear is for use with swingarm spools. Won't do you much good. If 'cheap' is your concern, just get a set from Harbor Freight.

$39.99 x 2 + $9.99 for the front fork adapter

Not sure how much moving I'd try with the bike on them. But not too sure I'd try moving my bike around even if it were up on Pitbull stands either

bang for the bick you cant beat T-Rex's around $140 for the set n the rear does both sw pad n spools.

But those dont look to bad if they have a sw pad option.

^I think I might end of doing that. Do the stands come with both adapters?

The ones I was looking at on eBay, I think I was just confusing which was the front and which was the rear. So it wouldn't work.

Mods if you want to close the thread. I've decided to get some 110 dollar T-Rex stands that will work great.
