I want CBR1000 blinking-mirrors... will it work?

Thanks Shane, I know those can be found on eBay... Speedzilla.com makes some too... I'm still debating whether it's best to go with some like that, or with a 1000rr mirrors retrofit.
I'm guessing the eBay/Speezilla option is more likely to bolt-up OK, give good visibility, and it's probably the cheaper way too.

The 1000RR mirrors are just like the 600RR mirrors. I'm so use to them I know to move my elbows when I use them. The mirrors on the '08 are just as adjustable honestly.
I think it would be easier to get the after market mirrors made for the bike.

There's barely NO room to run wires through right under the mirror mount on the F4i either. The fairing stay is solid with no holes in between the two screw holes, so you'd either have to drill through your fairing and the fairing stay, or not mind the 3" or so of wire that you can see plain as day.

Or, you could pass them completely through and use a wire clip. There's plenty of metal meat to do that and if you put the wires in black shrink tube, they would be all but invisible. Either way, there is plenty of material to accommodate a hole for 24 gauge wire. This is such an easy install, I think I'm gonna buy the mirrors and do it myself.

Thanks Paul. I've had my bike apart many times, including replacing the upper fairing and stay. I've also used shotty Ebay mirrors with built-in turn signals. What I said was true - there's no way to hide wires without drilling through your stay somehow. A lot of people won't want to do that.
