Default I think my clutch is going

so im new here i have a 04 f4i with a yoshumura rs-1 slipon. so today i noticed when im getting on it after 8 rpms it just revs up realy fast and i olny gain about 7 or 8 miles. 1st and 2nd gear i can get on till redline but 3rd and 4th have that problem. is this my clutch slipin. ill also have pics of my bike up for you guys

That's strange it only slips in the higher gears usually it's the other way around. U didn't change the oil with automotive motor oil did u?

no i changes it with repsol moto 10 40 i just went down and checked. im lost

Have you checked the clutch cable to see if it is too tight at the lever? It is possible it is not fully engaged, so at lower revs it still grabs, but once you get to higher revs, it starts slipping a little due to the increased power.

If you rip on the throttle really fast and your rpms's go up but your bike doesnt go anywhere. Its your clutch. Doesnt matter what gear your in, it will do it in all gears.

it's just more noticeable in the higher gears.

my clutch does engage really quick. if its in about a half a inch it ingages. it wasnt like that till a few weeks ago when i droped it. so u think i should agust my clutch levers

Its worth a shot. If that's your issue, it does not cost you anything to fix and is a pretty quick fix.

i just got my bike checked out by on of my friends and it is my clutch. wut hes telling me is that when its hot and i get on it to quick it doesnt grab. that expains why some days i could do wheelies and some days i couldnt. wuts a good site to find a cheap clutch. i dont want anything krazy im selling the bike this summer and thanks for all the input
