My bike is very sick.. sometimes it will start up fine and run for a while but after i shut it off it will start spittin and sputtering and wont run at all .. i checked for grounded wires with no luck.. i started it today it ran perfect shut it off and started it back it wouldnt run so i dont think its a ground cause i didnt move the bike any at all between the 2 starts .. sometimes the bike will straighten up and run fine if the shake the bike .. a buddy of mine thinks it may be the fuel pump.. but its priming up when the key is turned on..also the spitting and sputter gets lil worse when you put it in gear... is there any way to check the fuel pump id hate to have it replaced (340.00) and that not be the problem.. please any ideals will be appreciated..

 

does your bike have a fuel filter i might would check that because thats what it sounds like to me

 

my bike is an 2002 cbr 600 f4i btw..

 

When the bike won't start, pop the tank and see if there's a lot of pressure.
