Default I need some new rubber!

I need to buy some new tires for my project bike, any suggestions on which are best? Im planning on doing regular street riding, no racing or stunting. There are tons of tires and i dont know what to get?

Uhm...I'm totally OK with ppl pinching pennies on a lot of stuff. But can you seriously say it's ok to pinch pennies on tires??? Listen man...go to www.motorcycle-superstore.com or www.compacc.com and pick up a set of Powers or 2CTs... they got prices and deals on tires that can only make you smile. I just received my tire from Motorcycle Superstore and I'm quite excited...

+1 on motorcycle superstore. Just bought a set of michelin 2cts for $221.98 with free shipping. Awesome tire that's well worth this price! Look good on my 01 F4i....and I don't do any track days or anything but I ain't grandma either, but I wanted a tire that I felt confident on..these definitely do the trick!

I had really good luck in the past with Dunlop tires, but they do wear out quickly. I got a set of brand new Shinkos for free which I'm going to rock for a little while.

Check out the Pirelli Angel ST. I plan on getting them. Great tire with great reviews.

Everyone likes different tires, so not sure how much help this will be but I use Continental Road Attacks. I usually only see them on heavier bikes like the vfr for example but I put 6k miles on mine so far and they are barely worn. I've ridden the dragon on them and they performed exceptionally well. Very inexpensive also.
