Default I need advice....undertail related

Hey guys, I just installeda hotbodies undertail on my bike....although I love the more aggressive look, I find that the lights are pretty dim. I'm a little worried about daytime riding and visibility. Anyone know how to replace the LED's that it came with, and what type of new lights I should be looking for?

Thanks for the help.....my safety could be in your hands! LOL So help a guy out!

Sure...great idea. I'm assuming that you are going to let me practice on your bike first, just to be sure I get it right on mine?

Hey Whitby. txmorgan is crazy, and I dig that, he has a good piont. Check out the how to section. There is a killer post on how to install LED signal lights into the passenger pegs. Looks sharp. Plus the spacing adds to visibility.

Whats worse that just dim LED's, is the fact that the difference between light levels when the brake is applied vs not applied, is almost too faint to be detected. I was concerned about people not being able to tell when I'm applying my brakes or not.

Thanks for the advice so far from everyone. I'm concerned about the same thing (light when brakes are applied)....the undertail I bought has the two round led casings with the integrated turn signals, so theres amber and red in there. I guess what I was really looking for was a place that sells (if this even exists) brighter LED's that are pre done in the casings that I candrop into the existing holes in the undertail. Not sure if I'm making sense????

How did the undertail turn out? I'm thinking of buying a hotbodies undertail also.
