I can´t believe it is real !
My F4i has now 2500 miles, and yesterday I heard a ratting noise from the right side of the motor between 3.000 and 3.300 RPM.
After that it goes, it is only in this range.
I can´t believe it is the CCT with this mileage or maybe yes ?[&:]
I know that it can appears after 5.000 miles and between 5.500 and 6.000 RPM or I´m wrong !
And what can be if it is not the CCT ?
Thanks in advance

RE: I can´t believe it is real !
The CCT usually makes a rattling noise between 3-6k rpm mine was at 4500 and would only rattle near that rpm if you put your ear on the tank and rev the bike and hold it at the range you hear noise and then rev the bike a little higher and it stops it may be the CCT i got one off ebay and it want to hard to change but it takes some time i found itstructions somewhere on the web and i set my chain tension to factory specs and i have not had a problem since

Replacing it with an OEM CCT will not fix the problem. The replacement will start to rattle at some point. You either need to modify the OEM or go to a manual (i.e. Ape). Search this forum for CCT mods, and you should find a thread with instructions on how to modify the OEM CCT.
As far as I know, it isn't that much of a problem. Mine rattles, and always has and I haven't changed it. If it were that big of a deal, then Honda would have had to recall it. And every Honda F4i rattles.
