HRC Power-Up kit = 120hp??
I have been researching things that will help my f4i go faster. Now...before someone says get a new bike, im 20 years old and have had a few tickets. I have full coverage on my bike, and the cost of that is enough for me. I cant afford the insurance on a 1k or 954. But anyway... the things that i have heard about the HRC kits are that they arent sold in america, is this true?? how could i possibly get one? also, does anyone have any experience with installing these and the outcome of how it performs? Prices? any info would be great.
Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the HRC products go non-existent within 1-2 years after a particular model is released. I havent seen any HRC parts for the f4i for sale in about 5 years. Your best bet for more power is going to be port and polish the head. maybe bore and stroke it. NOS, or you could turbo it. Odds are your better to just ride the **** out of it like it is. the amount of money to do any of those mods coupled with the value of your current bike would probably buy you a litre bike.

hmmm.. You're 20 years old with speeding tickets and you want to make a bike that will go 0-60 in under 4 seconds with a top speed of well over 150 MPH go faster?
Michael, why not spend some of that money on a track day? I promise you will be able to go as fast as you want without a ticket. On top of that I also promise you can't ride your bike to it's limit so you don't need to worry about making it faster.
Upgrade the rider not the bike and you will go much faster.

I agree that it probably isn't necessary however looking at the kit, it would appear that you would need some Head / Cam work for it to really be beneficial (most of my engine knowledge is based on cars though so I could be wrong).
But at those prices don't they make little supercharger kits for these things? I'd go that route.

Ya ide for sure turbo charge it and do a nitrous cooled inter cooler you know... maybe swap out the old pistons for some forged ls1 pistons, maybe a new set of ported and polished heads, and a big lobe crower cam... forged aluminum crank maybe? Ide say ur be good for at least 1500 hp... to both wheels at the SAME TIME... dun dun dun
