Hey guys! im new here, just going to look at hopefully my first bike on monday. its a 2002 f4i with 5500 miles,really clean, and the dealer is asking 5395... any input on what i should be paying about for this bike? kbb is 4750, but i didnt know if the lower miles makes it worth a little more. Just trying to get an idea to go in with and haggle for!

tell them what the kbb value is.. i would pay that.

 

also depends on where you live...i would say that is a little high, but deals on F4is are dime a dozen here in CA...and also, ask if that price is OTD, including tax, doc, etc...maybe thats what theyre getting at with the price more than kbb...plus, cmon, its a dealership, what do you expect?

 

low miles no doubt, thats just broken in, but price is just a lil high for a 02. Offer somewhere between $4500 - $4800, and try to get them to go for no higher than $5k OTD.

 

You should be able to get em below 5k. If you do pay low 5k make sure they throw in a helmet, jacket, gloves, and free oil changes for a year or two, or something extra. There is a lot of negotiation room at a dealer. i payed 4600 for my 01 with 4k miles, but it was a private sale.

 

Just for reference, I'm picking up a stock 2006 F4i with 9k miles on Monday for $4600. I will have to pay for inspection, tax, and title.

yeah seems high to me i paid 4200 for mine with quite a few mods on it already, custom paint, and undertai, powercommander, slip on and so on
