Thanks that was a great right up, but it does'nt show how to remove the entire basket, I was trying to figure out a easy way to lock it in place to remove it by hand.(without the bike being in gear)

good source for OEM parts: hondaparts-direct

I had to order a bunch of hardware recently and they seem to have the lowest prices on OEM parts (unless you have a hookup at a parts counter locally)

I priced out a complete OEM clutch setup of friction and pressure plates, springs, and it only came out to like $80. Probably could replace the cable at the same time, and do it for under $120. It's a pretty straightforward process that you can do yourself if you just read the factory manual. of course you'll be doing an oil change at the same time also.

You don't have to remove the entire basket, you just take off the springs and remove the plates and the frictions plates and replace them with the new ones. Taking out the basket is not necessary in the new install.

My basket is notched to hell and back, so I need to replace it And also I am Changing the shift detent And I can't get to it without taking the basket off. I think an Impact gun should do the trick though.
