Depends if you want to go OEM, used, or aftermarket. If you install it yourself, OEM is around 100 bucks for just the plates, ebay 25-50 bucks for a used one, and aftermarket 150-200., parts only. If you want to take it to a dealer, it varies on the shop and their rates, could be 400-600. And you will need to get an oil change when its done, theres another 50 bucks there. I have changed 2 clutches and I did the first one for 150 and the second I got a used one on ebay for 24 bucks out of a wrecked bike that was almost brand new.

the dealer quote:
150-the OEM clutch(everythinglates, springs...)
2 to 2.5 h of labor...in my area it's 120$ for an hour of labor...
oil change+misc=75$
ALL together:450-500$...
that was the quote from a honda-yamaha dealer 3 months ago...

What i did is bought a barnett clutch that cost me 155$ shipped, 25$ for Honda oil, and i changedit my self...
So i saved around 300-350$, and also got a barnett for this money...

If you still want to go oem then it will be cheaper if you'll by the parts online then you can take it to the dealer, or change it you're self(wich is not that hard)...

Just curious how did you guys hold the clutch in place did you buy the tool from honda or is there something you can rig up to keep it from spinning?
