I would say if you can hold yourself back then don't do the flushmounts. It's way safer to have the ugly stock ones, unfortunately. If you reeaally reeaally want to though, I think the integrated mirrors look way sicker than any flushmounts.
If you're into looks then the colored-transparent double bubble screens make the bike stand out too! try zgoutlet.com
A loud pipe, now that's something you can easily justify in the name of safety
Then there's the classic fender eliminator too... but avoid getting rid of the stock turn signals... they could save your life!

+1 on the pipe. There are a million different opinions and views of which in the best. Whats louder, what sounds the best, what to get? How much to spend? A good pipe is around 300-400 bucks. I run with a Two Bros. pipe, nice deep tone, its as loud as you want it to be depending on how you ride. Higher rpms give you a louder pipe. Shift up and ride at lower rpms and your not obnoxiously loud. Loud pipes save lives. They may not see you in their mirrors, but when they can hear you....they know your there.

I just got my bike about a month ago... What's the first thing I should mod? Which makes the most impact or biggest difference. I just bought frame sliders but havent installed them yet. Thanks!
